You can now choose between dozens of ebike brands to stock in your store. Here are the details of every brand currently selling to dealers in Australia.
The information you can read below was first published in our Dec/Jan/Feb 16-17 print edition of Bicycling Trade.
Unfortunately we did not include details of RILU ebikes which have been distributed through a number of bicycle dealers around Australia for some time already.
We also did not include Giant ebikes, because the first shipment had not landed and details were not available at the time the print edition went to press.
We have added both of these brands in the updated guide below.
For such a new and relatively small market, it's hard to believe that we've had information and photoes sent to us for 39 brands!
Thanks to everyone who responded to our request for information.
Naturally, the distributors are proud of their brands but we’ve tried to tone down some of the advertising superlatives included in the text that was supplied. We’ve also limited each brand to a maximum of two photos, but most brands have more models so please follow up the contact details supplied for more information.
We’ve only listed bikes that are available to dealers to buy at wholesale price. Some of these brands may also sell direct, either online or via their own stores, but most of these brands are either solely or mainly sold via dealers.
We’ve listed the brands in alphabetical order and included ebike kits within the same listing.
All prices shown are Australian recommended retail prices, including GST.
In addition to the brands listed here, there are several other distributors who plan to have product available in 2017 but who were not ready to list in this guide until to finalisation of product details, delivery dates or other factors. These include Giant, KHS, Oceania, XDS and Progear.
