Business Development - Custom Teamwear

SCODY is an Australian Manufacturer of sports clothing.  We have a dominant position in Australian made custom clothing and a retail brand strong in cycling and triathlon. We are seeking an active, disciplined and motivated business to business sales person for our custom clothing business. You will sell to large employers, teams and clubs. This is both an account management and a business development role.

Your role will include:

  • Regular contact with existing customers by phone and email
  • Follow up of leads and inquiries by phone and email
  • Planned prospecting and cold calls
  • Advising customers on the best solution for their requirements
  • Communicating with our graphic artists to develop customer designs
  • Informing customers of progress during production

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have at least 2 years experience and a successful track record in business to business sales (possibly in recruitment, print or digital media, radio advertising or conferences)
  • Have proven experience in developing and growing key accounts (great customer service, relationship and conversational skills)
  • Be energetic and  highly motivated
  • Participate in cycling or triathlon or other sports regularly
  • Have solid telemarketing skills - cold calling no problem!
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team
