A fantastic opportunity for an experienced and qualified event manager to join the team at Western Australia's largest bike riding organisation.
Bicycling Western Australia hosts a number high profile and respected cycling events throughout the year including the iconic Dams Challenge, the Cyclo Sportif series and Ride2Work Day.
We are seeking a highly organised and methodical professional to coordinate, manage and deliver a busy events calendar.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate exceptional organisational skills with the ability to work to strict deadlines, effectively prioritise and multi-task. You will need to be able to communicate with a wide variety of groups including event participants, volunteers, partners, government authorities and contractors.
You will also be charged with researching and developing new events and courses. A passion for cycling and cycling events, while not necessary, would be highly regarded.
The role is pivotal to the success of our events calendar and previous experience working on the delivery of mass participation sporting events is essential.
