Measuring power with an accuracy of ±2% the Powerbox sends data to your cycle computer via Ant+ protocol, or via an optional Bluetooth upgrade. The base unit will measure left leg power, however an upgrade to handle right leg power also will be made available. Calibration is taken care of automatically  - every time you stop pedaling for 3 seconds or more your Power2Max “re-zeros”, no need to re-zero.

Chainrings can be changed by the rider with no need for re-calibration, and the battery change (life is about 300 to 400 hours) can be done by the rider too.

The cranks, which fit Shimano and SRAM 10-11 speed systems, are cold forged from AL6061/T6 aluminum and run a BB386EVO 30mm AL 7050 alloy spindle and AL7075 100% CNC chainrings.
