LOOK releases entry level 785 and new Keo 2 max pedals
Based on the pedals that won the 2009 Tour de France with Alberto Contador, the KEO 2 MAX CARBON, have gone through numerous advancements and improvements. LOOK designers have completely remodeled the shape of the KEO 2 MAX CARBON, slightly wider with 'increased style' and efficiency. At only 125g, the KEO 2 MAX CARBON is one of the lightest pedals in its category.
The 785 HUEZ RS is being the bike ridden by Team FORTUNEO-VITAL CONCEPT during the mountain stages of the 2017 Tour de France. With a very high-modulus carbon frame that weights only 730g, and a 100% carbon fork that weights 280g, the construction of a 5.9 kg bike for the general public is a possibility.
The 785 HUEZ is made from the same mold as the 785 D'HUEZ RS, benefiting from all its optimization research, but is constructed from a different blend of carbon fibers making it the most affordable competition-ready bike in the LOOK lineup. The two models share the same geometry and fabrication quality thanks to their identical optimized tubing. LOOK claims performance characteristics are virtually indistinguishable for a difference of 240g for the frame and 70g for the fork remaining under the one-kilo threshold, weighing in at 990g and with a fork under 350g.
