Sean van Waes, Managing Director Lazer.
“We’d like to thank David, the Bike Sportz team and all their customers for their strong commitment to our brand over the years which has accumulated in Lazer being the number 1 brand in Australia. We have become partners and most of us friends. Since Shimano Europe bought Lazer in 2016, it is a natural progression that we align our distribution base to that of Shimano, bringing more synergy to the Shimano family of brands. With the extensive support that Shimano Australia has to offer their retail partners, we have a long term vision that will enable us to build further on our historical success.”

Matt Bazzano, Managing Director Shimano Australia Cycling.
“Lazer presents an opportunity for Shimano Australia Cycling to offer high quality performance and casual cycling helmets and eyewear to our Australian bicycle dealer network. The Shimano Australia team is very excited to now introduce Lazer helmets into the Shimano family and brand portfolio. Lazer presents us the opportunity to offer a complete ‘head to toe’ product solution to our Australian customers and work together to grow and mutually benefit from sales in this category.”
